Lena Kim
I’m honoured to serve as Principal of SKY Elementary School and to be part of such a warm and dedicated community. It’s a privilege to work alongside our talented staff, supportive families, and incredible students as we continue to make SKY a place where everyone can learn, grow, and soar.
Over the past 17 years in education, I’ve had the opportunity to work in a variety of roles – from head English teacher and principal at SKY Education to classroom teacher, academic advisor, school administrator, and principal at SKY Secondary and within the public school system. These experiences have shown me the power of strong relationships, shared goals, and a caring school culture in helping students thrive.
At SKY Elementary, I believe education is about nurturing the whole child – academically, socially, and emotionally. Every student has unique strengths, and it’s our collective responsibility to help them discover their potential and feel proud of who they are. Together, we’ll continue to build an inclusive, supportive, and vibrant school where each child is inspired to reach for the sky.
I’m honored to join the SKY Elementary School community as Vice Principal and look forward to working closely with our students, families, and staff to create a vibrant and supportive learning environment.
With 14 years of experience in education – as a classroom teacher, academic adviser, vice-principal, and principal – I’ve developed a deep commitment to nurturing both academic excellence and student well-being. I hold a Master of Education in Leadership and Administration, and I am currently pursuing a Master’s in Counselling Psychology to better support the social and emotional needs of our students.
I believe that every child is unique, and that success looks different for each student. At SKY Elementary, my goal is to foster an inclusive and caring school culture where every child feels seen, supported, and inspired to grow. I am excited to partner with families and our dedicated staff to help students build confidence, discover their strengths, and reach their full potential.

I am grateful to be part of the SKY Secondary School community and to have the opportunity to support our students and families throughout their time at SKY. As part of the administrative team, I strive to be a welcoming and approachable point of contact for students and families. Whether they have a question, need assistance, or are simply unsure of where to turn, I am always happy to help and connect them with the right support. I believe that open communication and a supportive environment play an important role in creating a positive school experience. I enjoy getting to know our students and families and working closely with our teachers and staff. My goal is to help make each student’s experience at SKY feel welcoming, supported, and connected from the moment they become part of our school community.
